Cooperation agreement signed

On March 13, the signing ceremony of the “Develop Tennis in Jingshan and Jointly Create the Future” school-locality co-construction and the tennis talent attraction meeting were held in the small theater of WHSU. The event was attended by Lyu Wanguang, deputy secretary of the party committee and president of WHSU, Pan Gaofeng, member of the standing committee of the party committee and vice president of WHSU, He Hongtao, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee and mayor of Jingshan, Ding Chengcheng, vice mayor of Jingshan, and leaders of all relevant units.

Lyu Wanguang warmly welcomed He Hongtao and his entourage and expressed his confidence in the cooperation between the two sides. He hoped to further strengthen the exchanges and cooperation between WHSU and Jingshan City and provide the city with high-quality talent resources through this event. He expected Jingshan City to provide more practice opportunities and jobs for students of WHSU and build a broader platform for their growth and success.

He Hongtao pointed out that tennis is the key development industry in Jingshan City and the city will take the tennis industry as a key point to promote regional tourism, national health and the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects, etc. He hoped that the two sides would take this cooperation as an opportunity to help Jingshan build "China’s tennis city" and contribute to the city’s economic and social development.


Pan Gaofeng and Ding Chengcheng signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on School-Locality Co-construction. In the future, the two sides will establish long-term cooperation in "tennis +" industrial integration and development, national tennis training base construction and other fields.

Other participants attending the signing ceremony included persons in charge of the relevant departments (units) of Jingshan City, relevant persons in charge of WHSU’s Social Cooperation and Alumni Work Office, School of Tennis, School of Arts, School of Sports Training, and School of Economics and Management, and representatives of teachers and students.
