WHSU's International Students Achieve Brilliant Results at 7th Wudang Taichi International Fellowship Competition

From October 20 to 25, the 7th Wudang Taichi International Fellowship Competition was held in Wudang Mountain Tourism Economic Zone, Shiyan, Hubei Province. The event was jointly hosted by the Wushu Administrative Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the Chinese Wushu Association, the Hubei Administration of Sport, and the Shiyan Municipal People's Government. It drew participation from a total of 1,503 athletes representing 33 countries and regions.

WUSU fielded six international students: Fadly from Indonesia, Yesim TARAN from Turkey, Khine NYEINTHAR and San HTAR MIN from Myanmar, Leonid GONCHARENKO from Russia, and Gounou a wallis BIOSANNA from Africa. They claimed one first prize, two second prizes, and one third prize.

The event created a platform for international students in China to experience Chinese martial arts, fostering exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign cultures. The international participants fought toughly and achieved brilliant results, exercising themselves physically and mentally, accumulating experience, and exchanging Chinese and foreign cultural skills and ideas throughout the event.
