On October 3, in the men's 3m springboard diving final of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou, Wang Zongyuan, a 2020 undergraduate student from the School of Sports Training, WHSU, performed steadily and kept the lead all the way in the competition, winning the gold medal with a total score of 542.30.

This is the 11th gold medal won by WHSU athletes at this Asian Games, and also Wang Zongyuan’s second Asian Games gold medal, making him the second “Double Gold Medallist" of WHSU.
