On October 4, in the final of dragon boat event-men's 200m straight race at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou, Sun Jiahao, a 2021 undergraduate student from the School of Physical Education, and Li Chuan, a 2020 undergraduate student from the School of Sports Training, WHSU, partnered with their teammates to win the gold medal with an excellent score of 48.464s.

With the whistle sounded, the dragon boat paddled hand in hand to compete furiously with each other. This is the first gold medal we won in the dragon boat event at the Asian Games and the 12th gold medal won by WHSU athletes in the Asian Games.
