On October 5, in the finals of the wrestling event- men's Greco-Roman 97kg at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou, Li Yiming, a 2023 master's student from the School of Sports Training, WHSU, won the silver medal.

He demoralized other competitors and battled against in the eighth-final, quarter-final and semi-final in a calm manner, defeating the Japanese, Thai and Korean players respectively to make it all the way to finals, in which he played steadily, competed tenaciously, gave the best account of himself and displayed fine sportsmanship, successfully winning a silver medal for China.
