A delegation from Vietnamese Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports visits our university for an exchange

On September 26, a delegation led by Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Party Committee Secretary and President of Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports in Vietnam, visited our university for an exchange. Attendees from Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports included Le Thi Kim Loan, Party Branch Secretary and Deputy Head of the Department of Academic Affairs, Scientific Research, and International Cooperation; Giao Thi Kim Dong, Deputy Party Branch Secretary and Deputy Manager of the Computer and Foreign Language Center; Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Head of the Administrative Office; and Tran Huu Thanh Hung, staffer of the Department of Academic Affairs, Scientific Research, and International Cooperation. Representing our university were Mr. Zhu Lei, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of WHSU, and heads of the following units: the Development Planning and Discipline Construction Office, the International Exchange Office, the School of Wushu, the College of International Education, and the School of Competitive Sports.

Mr. Zhu Lei extended a warm welcome to the Vietnamese delegation before presenting an overview of our university's history, developmental progress, and key achievements in discipline construction, competitive sports, and internationalization endeavors. He noted that Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports is a valued partner of WHSU, both sharing a long-standing and profound friendship. He also expressed his hope for further collaboration to advance the high-quality development of both universities.

Mr. Phan Thanh Hai expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and provided an introduction to their university, covering its historical evolution, institutional scale, and distinctive characteristics. He noted that the two universities have maintained excellent interactions over the years and yielded substantial achievements in their joint student cultivation programs. He voiced hope for continued expansion of collaborative efforts in the future by promoting diverse forms of exchange such as short-term faculty and student visits, joint curriculum development, and scientific research cooperation, thereby further elevating the internationalization standards of both institutions.

During the meeting, the two sides also explored various forms of mutual visits, including short-term study programs, semester exchanges, and degree education, while also discussing matters related to scholarship support, language requirements, and graduation standards.
