On the morning of October 14, Prof. John Price, Dean of Graduate Research, and Kuang Jujiao, Research Fellow of the Institute for Health and Sport, at Victoria University, Prof. Olivier Girard, Research Director of the Sport Science, Exercise and Health Department at the University of Western Australia, and Associate Professor Deanne Skelly, Director of Biomedical Programs at Griffith University, visited WHSU. Wang Zhiqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of WHSU, along with relevant heads and representatives from the Office of International Affairs, the School of Sports Medicine, the Graduate School, and the Scientific Research Department, participated in the meeting.

Wang Zhiqiang welcomed the visiting delegation from Australian universities. He said that the delegation’s visit would deepen the exchanges and cooperation between WHSU and various Australian universities, which is of great significance in academic research, talent cultivation, and characteristic cooperation in competitive sports.

The representatives from Australian universities expressed their gratitude for the warm reception extended by WHSU. Victoria University, the University of Western Australia, and Griffith University presented detailed information on their basic overview, professional development, and international academic cooperation. They also emphasized the high degree of professional alignment with WHSU across multiple discipline areas and expressed their hope for further enhancing international cooperation in the future.
