On October 20, a delegation led by Shi Jun, Vice President for Chinese Affairs of High Point University (HPU) visited Wuhan Sports University (WHSU) to explore potential collaborations. Dr. Kerr C. Ramsay III, Senior Vice President of HPU; Dr. Ginny McDermott, Dean of the Nido R. Qubein School of Communication at HPU; Wang Zhiqiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of WHSU; as well as heads of the School of Journalism and Communication and the Office of International Exchanges attended an online and in-person meeting.

At the meeting, the two sides engaged in a constructive dialogue concerning the academic offerings of the School of Journalism and Communication. They deliberated on various collaborative initiatives, including exchange faculty exchange visits, short-term student exchanges, study tours, international student programs, overseas internships, and training opportunities. Additionally, they explored the viability of establishing Sino-foreign cooperative educational institutions (programs), as well as potential cooperation in bachelor, master, and doctor programs of other majors.

The two sides agreed on the content of cooperation and signed a memorandum of cooperation.
