Recently, after rigorous evaluation and assessment, Wuhan Sports University's (WHSU) English-language journal Advanced Exercise and Health Science (AEHS) has been officially included in the China Open Access Journals (COAJ) database. This milestone follows its earlier inclusion in the Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) in April 2024 and marks another significant recognition by a renowned domestic database. AEHS's inclusion highlights its growing academic credibility, professional standing, and enhanced role in international academic exchanges.

COAJ is a comprehensive scientific journal platform developed from the Open Access Platform for Scientific Journals of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS-OAJ). COAJ focuses on indexing open-access journals published in China as well as international open-access journals closely linked with Chinese research institutions and academic organizations. Since its relaunch on April 24, 2024, COAJ has indexed 246 journals to date. The platform enforces strict inclusion standards and review mechanisms to ensure the quality of journals and articles. It provides researchers and readers with high-quality academic resources across various disciplines and promotes their global dissemination, thereby enhancing the academic influence of Chinese scientific journals worldwide.
