A student delegation from the University of Cambridge visited WHSU on April 3 for cultural exchange activities. Both sides engaged in meaningful discussions on physical education and the legacy of traditional culture, highlighting the unique appeal of Chinese sports culture through martial arts and interactive table tennis activities.

With the guidance of WHSU's professional instructors, the delegation began their Tai Chi experience. From the starting posture to yun shou (lit. waving hands like clouds), students attentively practiced each slow movement, appreciating the philosophical meaning of Tai Chi's concept of combining hard forces with soft forces.

In the gym for non-contact sports, the delegation participated in a lively interaction with WHSU's table tennis team, enjoying their first experience of China's "national sport" filled with laughter.

The delegation also visited the gymnastics and strength & conditioning (S&C) facilities, gaining a deeper understanding of WHSU's distinctive model of blending sports with education. In front of the "Olympic Champion Wall of Honor," the students remarked, "Wuhan Sports University is the cradle of champions."
