On the afternoon of November 4, the AFC/CFA B Coaching Certification Intensive Training Program, hosted by the Chinese Football Association (CFA) and organized by the Wuhan Sports University (WHSU), officially opened on campus. Attendees of the opening ceremony included Tian Ting, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee of WHSU; Zhang Chao, Senior Director of the CFA Technical Department; Lars, an AFC/CFA Pro-Diploma Coach Instructor; and representatives from WHSU’s Competition and Training Office and the School of Football.

Tian Ting extended a warm welcome to the experts and trainees participating in the program and provided an overview of the university and the development of its School of Football. He emphasized that the purpose of this training program is to actively implement the spirit of the Overall Plan for the Reform and Development of Chinese Football. The program aims to further enhance the cultivation of professional football talent, promote high-quality development of Chinese football, and contribute to the broader goal of building China into a global powerhouse in both sports and football. Tian also expressed WHSU’s willingness to continue collaborating with the Chinese Football Association to support these national objectives.

This training program is specifically designed for male and female national team players and covers the complete curriculum of the Chinese Football Association’s C-Diploma and B-Diploma coaching certification courses.
