From June 5 to 7, the Central China Division of the 29th China University Tennis Championships took place in Hefei. After undergoing rigorous selection and intensive training, WHSU's tennis team sent 16 players to compete in four events: the men's and women's team competitions in Division C-A and Division C-B. The team ultimately won the Division C-A women's team title, along with third place in the Division C-A men's team, Division C-B women's team, and Division C-B men's team events.

The championship was hosted by the Federation of Chinese University and School Sports (FOCUSS) and administered by its University Tennis Branch. It featured six events in total: men's and women's team competitions across Division A (Non-Sports Institutions), Division C-A (Physical Education Institutions), and Division C-B (Sports Training and High-Level Athlete Institutions). The competition attracted 326 athletes, coaches, and team leaders from 33 universities across four provinces: Hubei, Anhui, Jiangxi, and Hunan.
