The Hubei Provincial Finals of the Second National College Student Career Planning Competition concluded on March 9 at Hubei University. Wuhan Sports University (WHSU) secured three golds and four silvers, with the number of gold awards and total awards ranking among the top in universities and colleges in Hubei (including ministry-run institutions). The school was also honored with the Best Organization Award.

The competition, themed "Dream Big in Youth, Navigate Your Future," featured five categories: Higher Education Growth, Undergraduate Employment, Graduate Employment, Vocational Education Growth, and Vocational Employment. All universities and colleges in Hubei Province competed for the event. In the finals, 115 contestants from the Higher Education Growth category made it to the on-site competition, with seven from WHSU, tying for second place in the province for the number of qualifiers.

Since the Ministry of Education launched the competition in October 2024, WHSU has placed great importance on it. With the collective efforts of various colleges, over 4,200 students actively registered. During the campus competition phase, WHSU developed a plan centered around the competition theme and organized more than 150 diverse activities and training sessions, aiming to develop this competition into an important classroom for enhancing career education, a broad platform for effectively connecting talent supply and demand, and a large marketplace for supporting graduate employment.
