On December 28, the 2024 National Muay Thai Championships and National Youth Muay Thai Championships, hosted by the Wushu Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, concluded in Huizhou, Guangdong. Over 300 Muay Thai athletes from across the country competed in the event. The WHSU Muay Thai team delivered an outstanding performance, winning 2 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze medals in the youth category, along with 6 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze medals in the adult category, securing the first place in the overall team score.

As the training base for the Chinese Muay Thai team, WHSU is currently actively preparing for the 2025 World Games, which will take place in August.
