From October 17 to 21, the 18th World Cup Finswimming Indoor Golden Final was held in Italy, where athletes independently trained by WHSU achieved excellent results, securing a total of 4 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze medals. Among them, Zhang Siqian won the gold medals in the 50m breath-hold diving and 100m scuba swimming, as well as the silver medal in the Senior Mixed 4x100m SB; Kuang Shiqing secured the gold medals in the 800m and 1500m finswimming; Cao Luwen won the silver medal in the Senior Mixed 4x100m SB, as well as the bronze medals in the 200m BF and 400m BF; Wang Zhihao also won the silver medal in the Senior Mixed 4x100m SB.



This competition serves as the final qualifying event for the finswimming competition at the World Games 2025 Chengdu, with nearly 600 athletes from over 30 countries worldwide participating, making the competition fiercely intense. In addition, according to the selection rules of the World Games, the four athletes mentioned above have all qualified to compete in the finswimming competition at the World Games 2025 Chengdu.
