On September 24, in the final of the rowing event - men's eight at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou, Li Wenlei, an undergraduate enrolled in 2019 from the School of Sports Training, WHSU, as well as Chen Xianfeng, Xu Qiao, Cai Pengpeng and Ji Gaoxing co-trained by the School of Competitive Sports, WHSU, partnered with their teammates to claim the gold clocking 05:40.17.
