A Safe Lead! WHSU Won the Fourth Gold!

On September 24, in the final of the rowing event, women's quadruple sculls, of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, Wang Zifeng, a 2020 master's student in the School of Competitive Sports, WHSU, partnered with Zhang Shuxian, Liu Xiaoxin, and Xu Xingye to clinch the gold medal.

The Chinese team went neck and neck with the Vietnamese team at first, and then they adjusted their paddle speed to quickly overtake. They performed soundly for the sprint, so that Wang Zifeng and her teammates breasted the tape first to win the game with a timing of 6:42:03. This is the fourth gold medal won by WHSU at this Asian Games!
